【摘要】:1.1TheserequirementscoverantennarotatorsintendedforhouseholdandcommercialuseonsupplycircuitsinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70.1.2Anantennarotatorgenerallyconsistsof:a)Amast-mounted(generallyoutdoors),motorizeddriveunitthatrotatestheantennatothedesiredreceivingazimuth,b)Anindoor-located(usuallyneartelevision-orradio-receivingequipment)user-operatedcontrolunitthatdeliversoperatingpoweranddirectionsignalstothedriveunit,and,c)Alengthofmultiple-conductorClass-2circuitcabletoelectricallyinterconnectthedriveunitandthecontrolunit.Someantennarotatingunitsmaycontrolantennaelevationseparatelyorinadditiontoazimuth.Insomecases,thedriveunitmaybelocatedindoors.1.3ThepowerusedtodrivethemotorofanantennarotatorisderivedfromacircuitcomplyingwithClass2limitationsinaccordancewithArticle725oftheNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70.1.4Theserequirementsdonotcoversystemsthatuseastationaryantennaandchangeorrotatethereceivingpatternbyelectronicorswitchingmeans.SuchsystemsarecoveredbytheStandardforAudio-VideoProductsandAccessories,UL1492.
