【摘要】:ThispartofISO1628specifiesamethodforthedeterminationoftheviscositynumber(alsoreferredtoas"reducedviscosity")ofdilutesolutionsofthermoplasticpolyesters(TPs)incertainspecifiedsolvents.Themethodisapplicabletopolyethyleneterephthalate)(PET),poly(butyleneterephthalate)(PBT).poly-(cyclohexylenedimethyleneterephthalate)(PCT),andpolyethylenenaphthalate)(PEN),aswellastocopolyestersandotherpolyesters,definedinISO7792-1,thataresolubleinoneofthespecifiedsolventsunderthespecifiedconditions.TheviscositynumberisdeterminedbythegeneralprocedurespecifiedinISO1628-1.observingtheparticularconditionsspecifiedinthispartofISO1628.Thedeterminationoftheviscositynumberofathermoplasticpolyesterprovidesameasureoftherelativemolecularmassofthepolymer.

【摘要】:Thispracticeisusefulforreducingsomeofthesurfacevariabilityofplastics(duetodifferencesinmanufacturingmethods)thatmightotherwisecauseexcessivevariationintheresultsofASTMtestmethodsdesignedtomeasureadhesion.Thetreatmentsspecifiedareconvenientforlaboratorywork.Thispracticeisnotnecessarilydesignedtoprovideoptimumadhesiontothesurfacesandthetreatmentsspecifiedmaynotalwaysbepracticalforindustrialuse.Thispracticedoesnotaddressallofthesurfacepreparationmethodsavailable;nordoesthispracticeciteallofthetypesorclassesofplasticscurrentlyavailable.Thispracticeisusedasastartingpointforevaluatingsurfacepreparationtechniquesforplasticadherendspriortoadhesivebonding.1.1Thispracticedescribessurfacepreparationsforplasticadherends,tobeusedpriortoadhesivebondingoftestspecimens.Itshouldbenoted,however,thatthispracticespecifiesonlythepretreatingconditionsoftheplasticanddoesnotcoverthepreparationoftestspecimens,testingconditions,orevaluationoftests.ThesearecoveredinthevariousASTMtestmethodsorspecificationsforspecificmaterials.1.2PhysicalTreatments(forexample,sandingandsolventwiping)areusedinordertoremovetheglossyfinishandalltracesofdirt,grease,moldrelease,orothercontaminantsfromthebondingsurfaces.1.3ChemicalTreatments(forexample,sulfuricacid8212;dichromatesolutionandsodiumnaphthalenecomplex)areusedinsomecasestoalterchemicallythesurfacelayersofthepolymeritselftoimproveitsadhesioncharacteristics.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionarystatementsaregivenin6.1.
