【摘要】:ThispartofISO4548specifiestestsfordeterminingtheperformanceoffull-flowlubricatingoilfiltersforinternalcombustionenginesasfollows.Section2:Initialparticleretentionefficiency.Thisgivesthetestproceduresandparametersforthedeterminationoftheinitialparticleretentionefficiencyoflubricatingoilfilterelementsunderdefinedtestconditions.Byreportingtheresultsinaccordancewithsubclause2.6,theprobableretentionefficiencyforanyparticlesizemaybederived.Theretentionefficiencyisdeterminedbythegravimetricmethod.Section3:Lifeandcumulativeefficiency.Thisgivesthetestproceduresandparametersforthedeterminationofelementlifeandcumulativeefficiencyoflubricatingoilfilters.Thecumulativeefficiencyisdeterminedbythegravimetricmethod.NOTE—Byagreementbetweenfiltermanufacturerandpurchaser,testsonlargefilterscanbeconductedonthebasisoftestscarriedoutonfiltersscaled-downinlength.Therelationshipofthefilterflowandtestdustadditionratetotheeffectivelengthofthefiltermediumshouldbethesameinthescaled-downtestsasinthefullsizefilter.ForthepurposesofthispartofISO4548,afilterhavingatestflowrateexceeding100l/minisconsideredlarge.
