【摘要】:Benzeneisclassedasatoxicmaterial.Aknowledgeoftheconcentrationofthiscompoundmaybeanaidinevaluatingthepossiblehealthhazardtopersonshandlingandusingthegasoline.Thistestmethodisnotintendedtoevaluatesuchhazards.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthepercentbenzeneinfull-rangegasoline.Itisapplicabletoconcentrationsfrom0.1%to5volume%.1.2ThevaluesinSIunitsareregardedasthestandard.1.3Thistestmethodhasnotbeenvalidatedforgasolinescontainingoxygenates.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection8and9.1.
