【摘要】:ThemainobjectiveofthispartofISO9276istoprovidethebackgroundfortherepresentationofacumulativeparticlesizedistributionwhichfollowsalogarithmicnormalprobabilitydistribution,asameansbywhichcalculationsperformedusingparticlesizedistributionfunctionsmaybeunequivocallychecked.Thedesignoflogarithmicnormalprobabilitygraphpaperisexplained,aswellasthecalculationofmoments,mediandiameters,averagediametersandvolume-specificsurfacearea.Logarithmicnormalprobabilitydistributionsareoftensuitablefortherepresentationofcumulativeparticlesizedistributionsofanydimensionality.Theirparticularadvantageliesinthefactthatcumulativedistributions,suchasnumber-,length-,area-,volume-ormass-distributions,arerepresentedbyparallellines,allofwhoselocationsmaybedeterminedfromaknowledgeofthelocationofanyone.
